Light Breakfast Five Fruit Salad
About the fruit in the fruit salad:
You can use any variety of apples you enjoy, for my fruit salads I like using red delicious or empire. For my grapes I usually use red but also sometimes use green. I use whatever is in season at the time for the cherries in my fruit salads. Right now I am using Bing Cherries. For the juice in the salad, it can be either fresh or bottled juice. Though fresh is always better. Also another great juice to use is Key Lime Juice in your fruit salads. You will not be disappointed.
Ingredients:
1 Apple
1 Banana
1/2 cup of Grapes
1/2 cup of Cherries
2-4 Strawberries
1-2 tbsp of Lime Juice
Directions:
Wash all the fruit first and pat dry with paper towel.
Cut and dice up apple, put into bowl.
Slice Banana and put into bowl.
Slice and dice Strawberries, put into bowl.
Cut Grapes in half or you can keep whole, put into bowl.
Cut around the Cherry, then twist one side of cherry, pit should be on remaining half, pit out other side using your thumb. Once all are cut and pitted, put Cherries into bowl.
Add Lime Juice over the fruit and lightly toss so everything is well coated in the juice.
Eat and Enjoy.
