Have you ever heard that eating spicy & hot food helps with digestion & your metabolism? I have.

Introducing this August, my personal Tabasco challenge.

I will use Tabasco pepper sauce at least once a day, every day for the entire month of August.

Dear Tabasco

Today I wrote an email to Tabasco. I have no idea if I will get a response or not. Had to write two emails because the first I left out the name of my blog. Hope they write!

"Dear Tabasco,

Last month I decided to take on a personal challenge for the entire month of August. Something called The Tabasco Challenge. There has been research done that eating spicy food can help with digestion and weight loss, so I wanted to put this to the test. Since August 1st I have been using Tabasco in at least one of my meals every day. It is now the 17th and I have less than half a month left for my challenge. I wanted to write you and let you know about my challenge. I love using Tabasco in my meals and may do another challenge in the upcoming months to where I use Tabasco in every meal I make for a month. Thank you for making a tasty product that I enjoy using in my dishes! I have been posting my daily Tabasco on my blog. http://saintcharlesveganeats.blogspot.com/

Results from my Tabasco Challenge

Results from my Tabasco Challenge are the following.

Due to having to stay off my feet I did not have the ability to exercise daily, however I did manage to lose a few pounds and keep it off. The increase of adding a little extra heat and spice to my food daily did help me with digestion through the month. Overall I enjoyed doing the challenge. 31 days of promoting a product and company that I enjoy topping off my meals with. Unfortunately I never did hear back from Tabasco and for that I am disappointed. I do plan on doing another similar challenge like this one. For the meantime I've been taking a break, relaxing a little, enjoying the beautiful weather, and thinking about all the tasty recipes that I'll be creating very soon and sharing with you all! May you all have a wonderful Labor Day!
