Budget Blinds are coming today for a free consultation. Hope that they can give us a great deal on window treatments for our new house. Our fridge is still not hooked up and still confusion about the hose/ hook up for the water line. Hopefully we will get a call back today or tomorrow from Sears so we can have running water and ice this next week!
Weather is amazing outside, so cool and beautiful! Yes there have been some storms with rain however my hubby and I have been loving the rain! Anything to get our lawn to grow is great right now.
Made some tasty Mexican food last night. No burrito shell and just the ingredients in a bowl. Enjoyed it very much and looking forward to dinner tonight.
Been enjoying re-watching the tv show True Blood. Watched four episodes so far for season 1 and then will get through season 2. Season 3 begins in about a week and a half. The seasons have begun to go a different direction than the Sookie Stackhouse books. It will be interesting to see what happens and how different it is from the books.
After hours of work yesterday, that felt like a heavy gym workout, I was able to get the majority of the rubbermaids, boxes and other stuff sorted into piles sectioned off in the house. Have to fill out some rebates, warranties and get some unpacking done.
This week is moving by quickly so far. Can't believe it's Wednesday already. 10 days in our new house and it's still wonderful. Just hope to get a few things taken care of and look forward to the housewarming party. If all the unpacking done soon then probably could squeeze the housewarming the end of this month, but as it looks July may work better for our house warming. Perhaps the weekend of the fourth of July? Now that I think about it, probably not a good idea. May run this idea by family and friends and see what they are doing already that weekend. Could make it July the 2nd on a Friday. That could work. Shall see about that.
