All The Insults That We Get As Children

All the insults that we get as children, does that really come back to haunt us as adults or do we just grow up and move past it all? I believe that sometimes it does come back to haunt you. Especially if it's someone who you did not get along with at all, like a bully. Sometimes we feel that we don't have the strength to move forward and then we have to be reminded that we are not children anymore and their words can not hurt us. Just food for thought for the day.
