Printed out the paperwork that we signed and the forms needed from the inspection. Will send the inspection paperwork back tonight and have them dated for today. This means this is it! My husband and I will be taking care of and paying for everything the buyer has asked for. It feels like we are bending over backwards and giving her everything she wants. Like her saying she'll offer us our asking price was a favor or something! We didn't even have that type of power when we first bought the home, but that was a different time and in a sellers market.
The costs are becoming frustrating only because we will have these repairs to take care of, the closing costs for the buyer, our commission to our sales agent, all the moving expenses getting storage pod or a moving truck to rent for a week or longer, and the remaining money for closing on our new house. After this it feels like we'll be lucky if we have a penny to our name left in our account.
But as many people will continue to tell us and I know it to be true. At least we're getting our new house and will be living at our new house soon. It's all worth it for the end result.
Perhaps once some of these extra expenses are out of the way I'll begin to believe that.
