Never Finished My Update

Never finished my update on Monday. Visit with my mom and grandma was good, had a nice time and my mom even made all vegetarian food for everyone to eat. I love her, she is awesome! With the vegan carrot cake that I brought several pieces of, it topped off a seriously tasty meal!

The rest of this week has had it's ups and downs, no more super happy good days but that's alright as I don't expect to have good days all the time.

Went back one more time and had my hair trimmed up. No longer a short cut or a bob, now is something my new stylist likes to call a short shag look, which I think I like. Perhaps next time will go shorter or may just stay around the same length. If I want to keep it this short then I'll have to go back every two to three months to maintain it or be subject to weird in between growth length that I don't like so much.

I bleached and dyed it last week and it turned out a strawberry blonde. I was finally getting used to it and decided to dye it darker due that fall is coming up around the corner, and I don't want to be stuck with strange blonde hair that I can't do anything with if I happen to get pregnant. Easier to have dark redish hair that I can't touch up than blonde hair. As it is, if I get pregnant I'll probably just have my hair trimmed every other month to keep it short and easy for me to take care of.

Just a few days away from my 10 year high school reunion and I hope that it goes well. Have to get there early to help set up, make sure there is seating reserved for everyone, or at least several who show up early, and just relax and have fun. My hubby will be coming with me and most have not met him. I have been on the committee for a few months now and wish I would have been part of the group from the beginning, so much confusion and frustration could have been avoided. But that's not here nor there cause it is what it is, I guess.

Will be searching for vegan makeup and trying to work on paperwork for the Missouri tax credit that is due before the end of this month. Hopefully cause my hubby and I purchased our new house this year we will be able to receive a credit, would really help us pay off a few of our bills.

Looking forward to next weekend when I get to see my friend again and have fun at a birthday party. Hopefully will finally get to see Machete next weekend and then have a fun girls night out before the end of this month. If not this month then there is next month for sure!

I wonder if my hubby and I will be invited to go to a Halloween party? I hope so. I think it would be tons of fun. I'd offer to host one at our house and I know that we have the room, I just worry that not many people would show up. Have hosted several events now and very few people have shown up, have no idea if it would be any different for something like Halloween.

Been tracking my cycle this month and having very low temperatures and only one day where it said I was ovulating on my predictor strips. Who knows if it'll happen this cycle or not, but in the meantime at least we're trying.

Had a lot on my mind and won't even go into the madness that's happening with our old agent that helped us sell our house and buy our new one. Just frustration, feel like we were lied to and now excuses are being made. Oh well, yes the important thing is that my hubby and I have our house, but still.. if you make a promise you should follow through on that such promise. That's how I was raised to believe.
