My Life

Turns out I will have to go out to Lowes and pick up a few things for the blinds and curtains before we can put them up in the bathroom and bedroom. Will be nice to have a little privacy once everything is up. The curtains that we purchased should look great in our room and provide us lots of darkness as they are black out curtains.

So amused and happy with our new front loading washer and dryer. I like the little chime at the end of the cycles that let me know that the laundry is finished washing or drying.

Cleared enough room in the garage today for my husband to be able to pull his car in for the night. I hope that with in the next week that I'll be able to park in the garage as well.

I wrote earlier that I wanted to update the rest of my remaining status updates, so these are the rest from yesterday and my random thoughts today.

Kitties are back home. Midnight is adjusting well, Uzume is still getting the hang of it. Think that they are just happy to be with their mommy and daddy again. Tomorrow more unpacking and have to try to get to the post office this week and pick up our mail. Will have to put our new mailbox in this week so we get mail at the house. Yesterday at 10:23pm

Mom brought over dinner tonight and visited with Steve and I after bringing the kitties back. She graciously watched the kitties and kept them with her for over a week while we moved. Because of this the girls have accepted their new home happily. Tired now, hope to get more rest tonight. Yesterday at 10:25pm

This is how happy our Midnight is right now. She is laying right next to me with the most happy half sleep look on her face. It will be sad to have her stay in her room tonight. I am so happy to be back with both my little girls. Yesterday at 10:47pm

Kitties are meowing up a storm. So many different smells in this new house. At least they love their room. That's right, for now our girls get their own kitty room. Spoiled. 9 hours ago

Off to figure out how to use the washer and dryer. Then unpack and hang up clothing. Then unpack more boxes and rubbermaids. Tomorrow hope to get out, buy a mailbox and post, get to the storage unit and finish clearing it out, get to the post office and pick up our held mail, get back home and set up the mailbox.
